Why hire me?
EMPLOYEES HIRE ME BECAUSE THEY ARE
Owed wages (overtime, bonuses, or commissions).
Wrongfully terminated for blowing the whistle.
Victims of harassment and discrimination.
Accused of violating a non-compete.
Fighting for unemployment benefits.
Seeking review of a severance or employment agreement.
Being sued by their employer.
EMPLOYERS HIRE ME BECAUSE THEY
Receive a demand letter, claim or lawsuit from an employee.
Want an employment agreement drafted.
Are seeking a new handbook or review of an existing one.
Need help managing a difficult employee.
Want an independent lawyer to investigate a harassment or discrimination claim.
Have been sued by an employee.
I track my time and bill you by the hour. Used in defensive cases and when liability or collection is not readily apparent.
You pay a flat fee for a discrete task. Examples of such tasks are an EEOC mediation or a claimant-side unemployment appeal.
I recover only if you win or settle. Offered when liability and employer ability to pay are clear.
A combination of hourly and contingency. The possibilities are infinite. I discuss these with you at an intial consultation.
